New Moon Resolution

New Moon Resolution 3

Yes, I know, I’m late. I knew I would be. I suppose what really matters is that I’m here now, and posting this moon’s resolution before the next one is upon us. So, without further ado…

For my third resolution this year, I was a little unsure what to choose. There are many changes happening in my life right now; the move to Scotland (which I also have to post an update on—you can expect that in the next few days), the steady building of my reputation on Fiverr, the continued challenges I have with my health, and the ever-present longing to

Actually, I am working on all of these, and mostly feel I have a good balance going on. But for this moon’s resolution I am going to dedicate more of my time and efforts into building up my reputation, working with a couple of authors to help them in producing the best book possible and getting said book out into the world where it belongs.

In fact, I have a plan, of sorts. Firstly, I’m considering redesigning my blog to serve me better in my semi-professional roles. Second, I’ll be putting a conscious effort into being more available and active on social media; Twitter and Facebook will get more attention from me, and I will look into the other networks to see if they fit with me personally. Finally, I’m going to take some time and study more on graphic design; getting to grips with my graphics tablet can only serve me well when it comes to creating and manipulating images for covers or promotional materials.

I’ll let you know when I’ve posted an update regarding the move to Scotland. Also, expect a review for James Fahy’s new book Hell’s Teeth within the next few weeks.

  1. Busy busy! If you’re creating more of a presence for yourself on social media, there’s a fun and active book-blogging community over on Intagram too. (You’re probably already part of it) bookstagramming is the future lol. I’ve met and chatted to some awesome authors/ readers/bloggers on there. Let me know if you run an account 🙂

    1. Actually, Instagram is one of those networks I hadn’t gotten around to joining yet. I’ve just set myself up at account— It’ll take a while to get to grips with something entirely new, but glad to hear you’ve had such positive experiences on there 🙂
